St Paul’s Church, Banbury

An example showing that when someone needs a quick turn around we can – hopefully – fulfill that need.

Ark was asked to make two repairs to the West Window. Due to the height of the window, which was already 2 metres off the ground, we advised that we would have to erect scaffold within the building. In order to keep the cost down we also advised keeping the scaffold up until the repairs where painted and returned to site.

With an active church, busy every week, we found a short time slot that allowed us to erect the scaffold on a Monday and bring it down after finishing the work on Thursday of the same week. It’s not always possible to do these fast turnarounds, but if needed, we can make sure that the studio time is clear for the repaints. These were decorative background pieces, and most of the glass was available for the artist to trace.
