Manors, Churches and Basilicas

Have you seen our new Portfolio pages yet? If not go take a look at the restoration work we have done at St Nicholas Church, Warwick and Old Gwerynfed Manor, Hereford

Some beautiful windows and buildings, both completely different but both as important and with as much love and labour involved, including the steel frames at Old Gwernyfed manor.

The lightbox has been on constantly all year and one of the jobs coming together is the next window for St Peter Chanel, Atlanta

Part of the window is the Basilica of St Therese, Lisieux. It can be quite daunting to take on a building which anyone now can look up and know what it looks like, so to paint that on glass can be a challenge, but our painters are up for it. Take a look at the pictures below to see how we take blank pieces of glass and turn them into a piece of art.

01. Glass is cut

02. The Basics are painted on

03. Add a little more

04. And a little more

05. And there you have it. Easy! Right?

Now just to finish the rest of the window…
